Want to play guitar? Bass? Drums? Sing?  COME TO BAND SCHOOL!  Ages 11 years or older!  

Guitarist and lead singer Heikki Leppänen leads the school. We're looking for teachers. Teachers needed. Call Heikki at 040 049 9070 for more information.

The kick-off is Wednesday, 23 May, from 1830-2030. We'll eat free pizza, learn about the school and make plans.

All international youth ages 11 years and older who want to learn how to:

• play in a band:  guitar, bass, drums, or any other instruments, or
• sing with a band

Come to this kick-off meeting.  You do not need to ownan instrument. Just come to the kick-off meeting!

7 p.m. FRIDAY Praise Music! Support "Love for Kids Russia"!

The "Who Cares Project"  includes some of the best Pentecostal vocalists and musicians in Finland. On Friday the 25th they'll raise praises to the Lord through music.

This concert is to to raise money for "Love for Kids Russia". In the summer, many of our young people go serve young Russian children who are sent to summer camps. Many are orphans, all are desperate to hear God's message of love.

Please help them take the message to all the nations! As the Holy Spirit leads you to do so, put some money into the collection bag when it is passed your way.

11 a.m.  SATURDAY  Meet at church parking lot.

 

We go to Kotiranta for the day.  Two training sessions focused on intercessory prayer. Prayer changes things. Learn-do, learn-do -- pray for God's kingdom to come on earth. Lunch and a mid-day snack are served. Return to Lahti around 8-9 p.m.

9:15 SUNDAY  Come at 9:15 (Finnish time)   Practice for 11 a.m. int'l service.

Members of our international groups will lead the morning worship service. A special guest speaker from Sweden will speak during the morning meeting, and again during a special evening service.

Come  at 9:15 a.m.  Service starts 11 a.m.

English, Russian and Spanish groups lead the morning service. "Gospel Voice" leads our singing. 

Int'l. Sunday School has started!

We are very, very happy to announce that our international children can now come to Sunday School. Nina Pehkonen, Wi Ni and several volunteers will take care of children from our language groups: English, Russian, Swahili/French and Spanish. They will teach in Finnish. This is for meetings held on Sundays at 5 p.m. (1700).

We've all wanted to find a way to support our children. About a year ago, Timo Kekolahti and our group leaders started praying about this need. The Lord answered that prayer on Friday, 6 April by sending us Nina and Wi Ni.

We ask people from each group to help Nina and Wi Ni. Everyonel takes turns so it's easy on everyone. The next time you see Nina and Wi Ni please give them a BIG HUG and a BIG THANKS!  This is another praise for us to raise to the Lord!
